Weapons awareness course

This course is aimed at professionals that deal with the public and is ideal for those involved in educational establishments, the security industry or anybody concerned with maintaining safety within their workplace.
During this short course BE SAFE trainers will show a variety of weapons that have been found carried on the streets and inside schools and colleges.
Some of these weapons are obvious and most ordinary people would easily recognise them for what they are. However there are a great number of disguised weapons available to those intent on carrying them. Some of these are home made or adapted from ordinary every-day items, but more worrying are products brought in from abroad which have been designed to look harmless whilst hiding their actual intent.
Our trainers will be able to demonstrate how many of these weapons are concealed and used and will be able to take participants through the likely medical implications of their use.
Our trainers will be able to let you know what the law says about the weapons so you will be able to pass this information onto anyone you suspect may have one or you find with one.
